How to play KINO

KINO is a daily film and TV guessing game. Every day one title is the puzzle, and your job is to name it from as few clues as possible.

The five clues

Each puzzle reveals up to five clues, one at a time. Alongside them a pixelated image slowly sharpens with every guess.

Clue 1The release year

Clue 2Box office (films) or number of seasons (TV)

Clue 3The director, or the creator and network

Clue 4A supporting actor and the character they played

Clue 5The lead actor and a hint at their role

Scoring

The fewer clues you need, the better your score. Guess it on the first clue and you top the board; leave it to the last clue and you still finish, just with a lower score. You can skip a clue or give up at any time.
